Well Canada, we did it! I am so proud to be Canadian at this moment. We may not have won the most medals, but we won more GOLD than any country in olympic history and thats what really counts. Gold in men's hockey was just the icing on the cake. I didn't think it was possible for me to hold my breath that long!

It truly was the best way to end the olympic games for any Canadian. I have seen more Canadian pride these past 2 weeks than ever before and it feels great. I am so excited for my year in Florida representing Canada to show the world how amazing being Canadian really is!

I also have amazing friends that mean the world to me. Ashley is my insecure friend, she is the one who needs to be first on my list of friends. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She's like the black lab of best friends, for those of you who know me, she's my Belle Belle. Paige is my rock, the person I tell everything to and the person that'll always be there even when I mess up big! I like to think I'm the same to her - we are like two peas in a pod as she says. Lastly, Allie - she is the cousin/friend that I never see enough of. For being 6 years apart, we have loads in common. We are passionate, motivated, goofy and we share the love of music. I know we will be friends forever just like our moms! So thats the basics of me, the rest - only time will tell!
